Some of the city’s most popular names and businesses are celebrating today after winning big at the UK’s largest tourism awards – the White Rose Awards 2019.
The Deep, Hull Truck Theatre and Hotham’s Gin School and Distillery were all winners at the glittering event that celebrates the region’s best businesses, organisations and venues.

The Deep won the Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award, with Hull Truck and Hotham’s Gin School and Distillery taking gold in the Arts & Culture and Experience of the Year categories.

The Freedom Festival and the Bonus Arena also took home awards at the ceremony at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, and the DoubleTree by Hilton was recognised as a finalist.
