Remember that time when you were playing with Lego while wearing your favourite Scouting For Girls t-shirt as Newton Faulkner played on the stereo in the background? No? Er, us neither…
But even if we had experienced this momentary and bizarre crossover of cultures, we could not be more excited about this weekend’s events in and around Hull.
That’s because the two British music acts who, coincidentally, both released debut albums in 2007, will be coming to the area, as will a mega Lego fan event.
And with two brilliant exhibitions also coming to Hull, there is plenty to keep you out of trouble from Friday to Sunday.

Fisherwomen, by award-winning photographer Craig Easton, will feature more than 20 large portraits and landscapes, plus an audio visual presentation with almost 100 images and a voiceover by Hull fisherwomen Dawn Walton. Learn more here.
2. Scouting For Girls

3. Hull Brickfest 2019

This huge celebration of everyone’s favourite colourful brick-based toy is back for a third year. The region’s biggest Lego fan event will being out the creative side of kids – and big kids – in the city.

4. Jade Montserrat: Instituting Care
