Hull is lucky enough to feature a plethora of peaceful parks.
And this week, its fantastic green spaces will be celebrated as Hull Culture and Leisure is teaming with Keep Britain Tidy for Love Parks Week 2019.
Activities including bug hotel building and learning more about fishing, will take place at Hull’s parks this week.
Children will be able to learn how to become a wildlife ranger as First Step Wild visits East Park.
Councillor Marjorie Brabazon, chair of Hull Culture and Leisure, said: “We are incredibly lucky have some amazing parks in our city and it is only right that they are celebrated.
“Parks are free open spaces for everyone to enjoy and are a big part of our tourism offer.
“With summer finally here there are lots of great free events and activities coming up for all the family and I look forward to seeing our residents out enjoying them.
“We are proud of our parks and welcome investment to restore and improve them.”
