New community art exhibition opens at Streetlife Museum

A new community‑focused art exhibition celebrating creativity, inclusion and growth is set to open this Saturday (25 April) at the Streetlife Museum.

Regeneration by CASE Training Services is a powerful exhibition showcasing artwork created by adults with learning disabilities. The exhibition highlights themes of renewal, growth and individual journeys, offering visitors an insight into the talents of CASE trainees.

Featuring a diverse range of artistic styles and media, Regeneration places self‑expression and community connection at its heart. The exhibition forms part of CASE Training Services’ ongoing commitment to accessible arts and empowering individuals to share their stories.

Visitors are invited to explore the exhibition, connect with the stories behind the artwork and support a vibrant celebration of creativity within the community.

Celebrating 40 years at the heart of the community, CASE Training Services has been supporting adults with learning disabilities since 1985. Based in Hull, the charity provides a wide range of opportunities focused on independence, creativity, wellbeing and community engagement, helping individuals to develop skills, confidence and meaningful connections.

Access and Inclusion Manager for Hull Museums Esther Hallberg, said: “This exhibition is the culmination of years of partnership and planning.

“We’re really proud to be working with CASE Training to showcase the remarkable talents of their trainees and to offer a welcoming space where their stories can be seen, heard and celebrated by the community.”

Regeneration will be on display at the Streetlife Museum from 25 April to 5 July. Entry is free and all are welcome.
