All aboard for a cultural weekend in Hull: free travel with Hull Trains

Hull Trains is offering free travel to the city for a bumper cultural weekend, inviting the public to two major events and industry experts to a high-profile culture conference.

Hull’s STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) festival Colliderfest will take place from Thursday 12 – Sunday 15 March, alongside brand-new community event Our City that promises to wow crowds on Saturday 14 March. Alongside this offer, attendees at this year’s Cultural Tides conference on Friday 13 March, can travel for free with their conference ticket.

Visitors, as well as school groups, can travel with Hull Trains from as far as Doncaster on Thursday 12, Friday 13 and Saturday 14 March to Hull to enjoy the events on offer in Hull city centre.

Cllr Rob Pritchard, portfolio holder for culture and leisure at Hull City Council, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Hull Trains to make this bumper cultural weekend accessible to everyone.

“Whether you’re a family coming to enjoy our large-scale public events or a professional attending the culture conference, this offer makes it easier than ever to choose Hull.

“We’re ready to show off the very best of our city’s creativity and this support ensures no one has to miss out.”
