Summer is looking bright in Hull city centre with a whole host of events for all ages, starting with Pride in Hull.
Hosted in a number of sites and venues, the event returns next Saturday (26 July) and promises to be a vibrant celebration, all under the inclusive banner of this year’s theme: “You’re Welcome.”
At the centre of the festivities, Zebedee’s Yard will be the city’s beating heart, hosting headline performances from Queenz and Boot Luv/Big Brovaz. The main stage will also champion local artists throughout the day, underscoring Hull’s commitment to homegrown talent.
The centrepiece parade, which starts at 11am, winds through Hull’s city centre, offering a moving display of joy and togetherness. Find out more about Pride in Hull here.

Cllr Rob Pritchard, portfolio holder for culture and leisure said: “Summer 2025 is shaping up to be an absolute cracker in Hull with these fantastic events all to look forward to.
“As well as being proud official sponsors of Pride in Hull and the Freedom Festival, the council is delighted to offer event support to organisers of all three of these major city events.
“Not only do we have these dates to celebrate, August also brings one of the world’s biggest bands Coldplay to East Hull, and we are absolutely ready to welcome them with open arms.
“We know how much events like these are valued by both residents and wider visitors alike and we are committed to their futures in Hull.”
