Hull City Council is inviting residents, businesses and community groups to share their views on the future of Hull’s city centre, as the final phase of consultation on the Hull City Centre Vision gets underway.
The City Centre Vision sets out a long-term framework to transform the heart of Hull by 2045, shaping a centre that reflects the priorities and aspirations of local communities. It focuses on creating a city that is innovative, healthy, creative, liveable, productive, distinctive and resilient.
Hull City Council is encouraging the public to help shape the final version of the Vision, having worked closely with the community since December 2024.
Visioning workshops with councillors, businesses and community groups took place in December, followed by the first phase of public engagement, gathering feedback from hundreds of participants in spring 2025.
In April, refining workshops with residents’ associations, businesses and accessibility groups were held.
Now, it’s time for you to help shape the final vision. The second-phase public engagement is launches today and will run until 29 June 2025.
