Following on from success in 2024, Hull Training and Adult Education (HTAE) is hosting another Meet the Employer Apprenticeship open event this month.
Those interested in a career within construction, engineering and business and management sectors are invited along to the free session.
Being hosted as part of National Apprenticeship Week, it will give attendees the opportunity to chat with local employers and discuss apprenticeship opportunities.
Cllr Linda Tock, portfolio holder for Hull Training at Hull City Council, said: “Meet the Employer events are a fantastic way for people to discover more on career paths which may interest them.
“They are also beneficial to businesses as it gives them the opportunity to showcase what they do best.
“Last year saw almost 100 people attend and HTAE really does a great job to facilitate these. I urge anyone with an interest in these sectors to attend.”
Confirmed businesses in attendance include Hull City Council, Hobson & Porter, KWL, Swift, NHS, GW Power, Geo Houlton & Son and JP Developer.
Meet the Employer will take place from 4:30-6:30pm on Thursday 13 February at HTAE’s Construction Centre on Nursery Grove, off Portobello Street, HU9 5XT.
