Hull Jazz Festival

It’s a special year for Hull Jazz Festival with the annual event celebrating 30 years this November. There are various shows and performances taking place across the city.
Hull Jazz Festival is produced by J-Night, which since 1992 has produced more than 1300 shows, worked with over 7000 musicians and reached audiences of more than 260,000 people.
White Hall Estate Bonfire Spectacular

Obviously it’s Bonfire Night on the 5 November and you don’t have to venture too far out of Hull this year for what promises to be a spectacular display.
White Hall Estate, east of Hull in Holderness, is hosting a Bonfire Spectacular on Saturday 2 November, which includes fireworks, stilt-walkers, a bonfire, fire breathers and stalls.

The iconic dance music Institution, which changed the face of UK clubbing, arrives in Hull for a spectacular event featuring a huge line-up of internationally known house music legends.
Hull Christmas Lights Switch-On

Does Christmas officially start in Hull when the lights go on?
Thousands of people turn out every year, whatever the weather, to watch the city’s Christmas Lights being switched on in Queen Victoria Square.
As always, the annual Christmas Lights switch-on will include a host of special guests and performers on the balcony of City Hall. The entertainment starts at 5pm with the big switch-on at 6.45pm.

Sticking with the Christmas theme, you can experience a Victorian Christmas in Hull at the end of the month.
There will be carousels, horse and carriage rides and live music.
