Free courses are on offer at Hull Central Library to support people who are looking for work and enhance their job seeking opportunities.
Hull Libraries is offering four-week courses to help jobseekers with the basics of looking for work online, setting up and using emails, writing CVs and covering letters and searching for jobs via the Universal Jobmatch.
Councillor Terry Geraghty, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Tourism and Chair of Hull Culture & Leisure Limited, said: “These courses are just one of the many resources available in our libraries. I hope this way of learning introduces new people to the library who may not have previously used the service before.”
The courses run from 10am until 12noon and include:
Every Friday – from 12 January onwards and 19 & 26 January and 2 February
or
Every Friday – from 23 February and 2, 9, 16 March
