Children can find out more about moths during ‘Healthy Holidays’ in Hull later this summer.
‘Magical Moths’ takes place at the Animal Education Centre and Pickering Park Aviary.
Children can share in a moth storytime before participating in some moth-themed craft activities.
They can also learn more about our native moth inhabitants and be given the opportunity to observe and identify some of the local species.
Sessions are available at the following times:
Animal Education Centre – Monday 14 August, 11am to 1pm
Pickering Park Aviary – Friday 18 August, 11.30am to 1.30pm
Please note children must be accompanied by an adult during these sessions.
Lunch is provided; if your child has any dietary requirements or allergies, please note this when booking.
Please also mention it to our staff at registration.
Sessions are limited to a maximum of 15 child places per session, and this activity is recommended for children aged from 4 to 11.
