The fountains in Queen Victoria Square will unfortunately not be operational over the coming weekend due to a mechanical fault.
Contractors have been contacted and they are scheduled to attend next week to commence the repairs.
The council would like to offer its sincere apologies to residents.
We understand how much children and their families enjoy the fountains and will publish an update when they are due to reopen once again.
