The Chanterlands Avenue Crematorium will close to the public from tomorrow, Wednesday 1 April, except for funerals and burials.
It follows Health Protection Regulations which stipulate that a crematorium or burial ground is closed to members of the public, except for funerals or burials during an emergency period.
Gatherings for funeral services and burials at Chanterlands Avenue Crematorium are now limited to 10 people in line with Government guidance.
The city’s cemeteries are to remain open.
