Hull City Council has launched a new survey that will help shape how it will meet the needs of its residents now and in the future.
Hull residents are invited to have their say on the future of adult social care and to share what their vision and ambitions are.
They are inviting views from all adults in the city, whether they have experience of the service or not.
They want to better understand their residents’ awareness and knowledge of the services and support they offer. They also want to hear about their experiences with the service.
They have drafted an Adult Social Care Strategy for 2025-2028 and want to hear want their residents’ feedback.
They are encouraging residents to come forward and share their ideas and experiences, highlight anything they think is missing, and share what is most important to them. Their valuable feedback will then be used to inform the new strategy.
Councillor Linda Chambers, the portfolio holder for Adult Social Care at Hull City Council, said “This new strategy will set the guiding principles for Adult Social Care in Hull and will set out the council’s vision for how it will make changes. By working with people in Hull and all our key partners, we can ensure that adult social care is effective and meets the needs of people in Hull now and in the future.’’
“We want to hear your experiences and what your ambitions and vision is for your future adult social care. You may have accessed our services, or you might be caring for someone who needs some extra support, or you may just have ideas of how we can do things differently. We value all opinions and feedback that you share with us. They will be used to help shape the final strategy and ensure it is one which works for everybody.”
