Lord Mayor’s Christmas Tree Festival
Hull Minster, South Church Side, HU1 1RR, 27 Nov – 19 Dec 2022, 10am – 4pm
The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Tree Festival is back!
Businesses and local organisations have donated trees, which will be on display this month at Hull Minster.
The event raises funds for the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal Fund, which this year supports The Charterhouse Hull and The Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) Benevolent Fund.

Jack & The Beanstalk

Fe-fi-fo-fum! Follow Jack on a gigantic adventure up the beanstalk in a spectacular family pantomime at Hull New Theatre.
Starring pop legend Gareth Gates, join Jack to save Princess Apricot, outwit the evil giant and win riches beyond his wildest dreams.
Expect laughs, music, special effects, magic beans and bundles of audience participation in this giant of a pantomime!
An Enchanted Story with Father Christmas & Friends
Humber Street Pop Up Space, HU1 1TU, 10 – 21 Dec 2022, various times
Don’t miss delightfully festive hour of Christmas magic at Hull’s Fruit Market this December!
Created by local artist Anna Bean, the performance will feature Christmas magic, storytelling, and the chance to send your Christmas wishes to the North Pole!
There will be a moment of magic for each child as they receive a book as an early Christmas gift from Father Christmas which can be shared with all the family.
The Snowman
Hull City Hall, HU1 3RQ, 11 Dec 2022, 1:30pm & 4pm
Make it a Christmas to remember with family-favourite The Snowman at Hull City Hall, accompanied by a live orchestra. This magical award-winning show features some the UK’s finest musicians and is ideal for the whole family to enjoy together.
Alongside The Snowman, enjoy The Flight Before Christmas – the sensational new Shaun the Sheep film. Shaun’s seasonal excitement turns to dismay when a farmhouse raid to get stockings for the Flock goes wrong.
Christmas with Il Divo
Bonus Arena, HU1 2PS, 12 Dec 2022, 7pm
Classical singing superstars, Il Divo, head to Hull to perform their greatest hits and festive classics live.
Discovered by Simon Cowell in 2003, the group has achieved global success and performed for US presidents George Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, as well as the Queen of England.
Enjoy hits like “Regresa a Mi” (Unbreak My Heart), “The Time of Our Lives” (“The Official Song of the 2006 FIFA World Cup),” and “I Believe In You” in their special Christmas show.
