Trinity Live is back for its sixth year. Returning on Thursday (5 June), Hull’s favourite free music event will be presenting top local talent in the atmospheric Trinity Indoor Market.
With a fantastic line-up of performers promised, the market is the place to go to kick-off the weekend early in style.
The season will continue with more free live music every Thursday through to December, with the market’s fantastic food and drink stalls staying open for the show.
Trinity Live sessions will run from 6 – 9pm every Thursday, with the last show taking place Thursday 18 December. Details of the Trinity Live schedules for the rest of the year will be announced once acts are confirmed.
Mark Page of Sesh Events said: “We’re delighted at Sesh Events to have been asked back to curate and host ‘Trinity Live’ once again. Since it’s conception in 2019, it’s proven to be a truly wholesome event for the community.
“All ages are welcomed. It’s free, accessible, and provides a superb platform for some of the region’s finest bands and acts every Thursday. What’s not to like? Huge thanks to Hull City Council for bringing this great event back to the city.”
Cllr Rob Pritchard, portfolio holder for culture at Hull City Council, said: “Trinity Live is a staple now in the city’s events diary and I’m really pleased so see it return again for its sixth year.
“As an aspiring UNESCO City of Music, shows like Trinity Live are imperative to supporting our future bid.
“Celebrating our local music scene is something the people of Hull do incredibly well and I have no doubt this season will be no different.”
Alongside the already established providers at Trinity Market, a new partnership with the Crown & Cushion, Hull’s Old Town premier establishment, will also be on offer. As part of this collaboration, the Crown & Cushion will support Trinity Live by operating a fully stocked bar featuring premium beverages including Madri, Guinness and craft IPA.
Robert Jackson, managing director of Crown & Cushion said: “The team at Crown & Cushion are thrilled to be joining the vibrant Trinity Indoor Market community and launching their latest venture in such a historic and lively setting.
“We’re absolutely delighted to be opening up at Trinity Market, it’s a brilliant venue, and Trinity Live is one of the city’s most exciting music events. We can’t wait to pour pints and be part of the energy every Thursday night – great music, great people, and great drinks is what we’re all about!
“We believe that the new bar space will bring a fresh twist to the market, adding to the already strong line-up of independent traders and enhancing the unique Trinity Live experience.”
