Monday 1 June will signify the start of Humber Business Week 2026.
Hull City Council’s Invest Hull team will be working across the city and the region as part of a full week of networking, conferences, exhibitions and keynote speakers.
Humber Business Week, for 2026 running from Monday 1 to Friday 5 June, is a celebration of the Humber region’s business landscape.
It showcases talent, innovation and opportunities whilst providing a platform for networking among local and regional businesses.
The week will launch with ‘This is the Humber: Flipping the Script’, hosted by Future Humber at the MKM Stadium, before culminating with The Business Day, the annual event at Bridlington Spa on Friday 5 June.
For 2026, the council has teamed up with East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority at The Business Day to present a unified, region-wide approach to business support, reflecting shared commitment to delivering priorities within in the HEYCA Local Growth Plan.
The message for this year’s stand is ‘Every business faces hurdles – we help you clear them’, and is built around a ‘Hull & East Yorkshire Business Support Point-to-Point’ theme, designed to represent the journey businesses go through as they start, grow and overcome challenges and hurdles.
The racecourse theme provides a visually engaging and memorable way to demonstrate how Hull & East Yorkshire Business Support Services support businesses throughout the region.
The council will once again host its popular Hull Business Breakfast in the Guildhall on Thursday 4 June.
Hull City Council leader, Cllr Mike Ross, said: “Humber Business Week is a brilliant week which really showcases how great our city and our region is and also what else it has to offer for businesses.
“Having worked in collaboration recently at UKREiiF alongside East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority, it will be another opportunity to demonstrate region-wide support for the area.
“I am also looking forward to welcoming attendees once again to our popular Hull Business Breakfast.”
