Snowmen

Hull Truck Theatre, 5-6 January

Two snowmen are on a mission not to melt when they discover their perfect home, an ice arena. Packed with visual comedy and told with a handful of words, Snowmen is the perfect winter treat for 2-7 year-olds and their families.

LOL Comedy Club

Hull City Hall, Friday 12 January

Laugh your way into 2024 with the LOL Comedy Club. The show features comedians from all over the country, including familiar faces from off the telly, as well as exciting new talent.

This month’s show is headlined by one of the country’s brightest stars, award-winning comedian Josh Pugh.

Circus of Horrors

Connexin Live , 26 January

Hop on board a rock n’ roller coaster ride through a Cabaret of Curiosities featuring Sword Swallowers, Hairculean aerialists hanging from their hair whilst suspended above the auditorium, Whirlwind Jugglers, Twisted Contortionists, Voodoo Acrobats, Pickled People, Hula Hooping Sideshow Showgirls and lots more!

The almighty cast has stormed into the finals of Britain’s Got Talent and is now a West End and World Wide Hit.

The Hull Record Fair

Hull Minster, Saturday 13 January

Presented by Wrecking Ball Music & Books, the bi-monthly fair has record dealers from all over the UK coming to Hull’s historic Minster.

With a wide range of LPs, CDs, DVDs, Limited Editions, Picture Disks, 7”, 10” and 12” records, there is no doubt you will find that special item for yourself, or someone special.

Chasing the Masters

Burton Constable Hall , Until 28 January

If you are looking for a break from Hull and a bit of peace and quiet, a trip to Burton Constable Hall could be on the cards. And January is your last month to catch the Chasing the Masters Exhibition, which features artists using traditional techniques to capture a contemporary Yorkshire. Paintings includes interests of landscapes incorporating 18th and 19th century glazing techniques, to create works that capture light and optical depth.
