Dog-owners who missed microchipping their furry friends at a free event in February have another opportunity to get their pet chipped and checked.
The free drop-in session takes place on Tuesday 3 March from 11am to 3pm at Unity In The Community in Endike Lane, north Hull. No appointment is needed.
Dogs can be chipped and get a basic health check, including a weigh-in, nail-clipping, basic wellbeing advice and information on updating chip details.
Specialists will provide advice on diet, training and neutering and have other tips and useful resources available.

The drop-in follows hugely successful sessions in February and November which saw hundreds of dogs chipped and checked.
Helen Foulson, animal welfare officer at Hull City Council, said: âOur previous sessions have been really well-attended and weâre really pleased people are finding them useful. Having your dog microchipped is a legal requirement, so if itâs something youâve not got round to, this is a great chance to sort it out. A microchip also means that if your dog gets lost, you can easily be reunited.
âIf you donât have a dog and youâre thinking of adding one to your family, please consider a rescue. There are lovely dogs right now at our Carr House Rescue Centre who are waiting to find their forever homesâ.
