Essential upgrades to the electricity network in Wincolmlee will begin next week.
The work is being carried out by Northern Powergrid from Tuesday February 1 (note: delayed from January 31) and will last up to five weeks, during which time the road will be closed in both directions between Wilmington Bridge and Air Street.
Cllr Dean Kirk, portfolio holder for roads, highways and transport said: “Northern Powergrid has advised us that these upgrades are necessary to ensure the electricity network continues to operate reliably and safely.”
Below is a breakdown of roadworks taking place across Hull over the next few weeks. Motorists are also advised to plan their journey using one.network.
