Essential repair works will take place in Preston Road from Friday 28 June.
The kerbing and carriageway works will take place between Marfleet Lane and Annandale Road.
The road will remain open to motorists and temporary traffic lights will be in place to manage traffic flow.
A five-day closure from 19-26 August will be in place in Preston Road so that resurfacing works can take place. Eastern Cemetery will remain open to pedestrians only, and visitors are encouraged find alternative parking for the duration of the resurfacing works.
Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for highways, said: “To allow our contractor to carry out the work safely and swiftly, traffic management will be in place.
“We apologise in advance for any disruption caused during the period of works and ask that motorists are patient while we carry out these essential works.”
Wright Civil Engineering Ltd will be carrying out the works on behalf of Hull City Council.
