Personal Assistant/industrial Relations Secretary

General Accounting Manager

The position has been advertised as fixed-term for 18 months, pending the implementation of the new financial system.

The position is located within the Council’s Finance and Transformation Service. The post holder will lead the General Accounting team providing effective customer focussed support for a range of finance related functions: the accounts payable function, purchase cards, salary sacrifice schemes, appointeeship and deputyship client management, carer payments and general accounting functions.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working within Housing Benefits Administration. Must be able to demonstrate excellent levels of quality and output, as well as have thorough knowledge of the Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction Regulations.

Youth and Community Worker – Fixed term

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled youth worker to join the team, who can help support vulnerable groups of young people around the city. 

As part of the Violence Prevention Partnership programme delivery, you will work independently as a small team and also contribute to a multi-agency approach who will identify and support young people.
