Keen cyclists are being invited to enter a competitive cycling race at Ennerdale Cycle Circuit next month.
On Saturday 13 May, the British Cycling event will include chip-timed races in men, women and youth categories.
British Cycling membership is required for the men’s races, however a full race licence is not. No membership is required for women’s and youth races, however women who would like to score ranking points will need a race licence.
A £100 cash prize is on offer for the winner of the regional races, with medals for podium finishers.
Alison Walker, Director of Leisure for Hull Culture and Leisure said:
“This is the first race day we have ran at the track, and as the only cycle circuit in the region, we’re hoping we can make it an annual event for cyclists in the area.”
