We have a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Improvement Officer in the Waste Management team.

This role will be responsible for the delivery of the Love Your Street Project to support the Council’s sustainable waste management strategy, which aims to minimise waste, maximise reuse, recycling and composting and reduce the amount of waste sent for disposal.

Refuse & Recycling Driver/Chargehand – 3 Posts

Streetscene Service are seeking to appoint suitable candidates with LGV Class C/2 Driving Licence and meet the requirement for 5 days CPC training over previous 5 years, to drive and maintain a range of refuse and recycling collection vehicles.

Streetcare Operative – Part Time

We have two fixed-term opportunities within our waste management team. One post is fixed term for 16 months to cover the secondment of the substantive postholder. The other post is fixed term for 9 months to cover maternity leave.

An exciting role has become available for the right candidate within the Streetscene Public Transport Team. The successful individual will be initially based at Festival House, where you have your own workshop and workstation, but will be required to travel to all over the Hull Network Daily.
