Cleaning Assistants

Salary details: £20258 – £20258 (pro-rata)

Closing date: 24 March 2023 

The Hull City Council building cleaning team is looking to recruit cleaning assistants to work at schools within the city. The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance of a clean, tidy, and healthy environment of the school.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential as full training and support will be provided.

Fostering Social Worker – 2 Posts

Salary details: £32020 – £38296

Closing date: 26 March 2023 

Hull Fostering Service have two opportunities available, one fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave and one part-time, permanent post.

You will be required to undertake robust assessments, support mainstream and respite foster carers, connected persons foster carers and undertake viability assessments where required. The post is fast paced and involves working to timescales and undertaking direct work with children and families. 

Driver – 2 Posts (Term Time Only)

A vacancy has arisen for term time PCV bus drivers at Hull City Council. You will be required to operate council vehicles, transporting clients to and from local authority educational establishments.

You will work predominantly with children but may also need to transport vulnerable adults to day centres around the city.

Extra Care Chef

Salary details: £22777 – £24948

This post requires you to lead, manage and develop the catering service provision to the customers served by the council’s catering department based at Harrison Park Housing Complex.

You will create menus, produce nutritional data showing compliance with food, and be up to date with current trends in the commercial catering with ability and skill to research, develop and produce new dishes. 

Partnership Co-Ordinator

Salary details: £22777 – £24948

We are looking for a highly organised individual to join our community safety team and manage an integrated partnership function across the city. 

The successful candidate will work with key partners, meeting the needs of partnership groups including the Community Safety Board, Place Based Tasking and supporting the delivery of wider community safety projects. 

BIT Manager

We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic tutor with relevant bricklaying qualifications and experience of working in the industry. Although previous teaching experience would be an advantage.

Organised and able to work as part of a team to agreed targets you will train learners in our purpose-built workshops, deliver training, and conduct assessments in the workplace.

Communications & Engagement Officer (CYPFS)

Salary details: £32020 – £34723

Closing date: 16 April 2023 

We are looking to recruit an internal Communications and Engagement Officer to work with the Children, Young People and Family Services directorate at the council.

The role will see you support and advise the directorate’s senior management, develop, and deliver an internal communications strategy, progress existing and new internal communication channels, whilst creating and managing high quality multimedia content, which you will evaluate, review, and improve.
