Social distancing measures are being applied by the senior coroner for Hull and the East Riding in line with Government guidance on limiting public gatherings due to coronavirus.
Professor Paul Marks is endeavouring to ensure that scheduled inquests go ahead were possible. When possible and with the families’ permission, they will be heard without any family or witnesses being present.
An audio recording of proceedings will be available to families after the inquest has been concluded.
If families do not agree to this approach, the inquest will be adjourned to a later date, with a revised date and time being set as soon as possible.
