This week it was announced that essential overnight resurfacing works would be taking place from Monday November 1 in the latest phase of the multi-million-pound Stoneferry improvement scheme.
The work is expected to last about a week and will be undertaken overnight in order to minimise disruption. The works will be carried out between 7pm and 6am, Monday to Friday.
The carriageway will be closed on Ferry Lane from the River Hull bridge (eastbound) to Ferry Lane roundabout, and on Stoneferry Road (northbound) from Ferry Lane roundabout, past Ann Watson Street, to Bandstand roundabout.
Councillor Dean Kirk, portfolio holder for transportation, roads and highways said: “With the Stoneferry improvement scheme, we are improving access and use for thousands of residents and businesses in the area.”
