Investing in Volunteers status has been awarded again

Gold standard reached for a third time for HEY! Volunteering

HEY! Volunteering has achieved top quality status for the third time in a row.

Awarded every three years, the Investing in Volunteers renewal status ensures organisations are working to best practice and giving volunteers an excellent experience.

The award follows a rigorous assessment process that looks closely at policies and procedures within an organisation. It involves speaking to various stakeholders, as well as interviewing many of the volunteers.

Councillor Rob Pritchard, portfolio holder for culture and leisure, said: “HEY! Volunteering provides a huge range of fantastic opportunities for its volunteers and its great to see it recognised once again for its high-quality standards.”

Investing in Volunteers is a nationally recognised status that demonstrates the value given to the volunteers and promises outstanding volunteer experience.
