Social Worker – Grades 8 & 9

We have an opportunity to join the Children & Families Disability Team to provide a service to children with disabilities and their families.

We are looking for candidates with a strong child-centred value base that informs your work, and to be able to talk about what good practice ‘looks like’ for children, young people and families.

Domestic Abuse Practitioner – Fixed Term

Salary details: £28371 – £31099

Closing date: 23 April 2023 

Fixed Term until 31 March 2024 due to funding. The Domestic Abuse Partnership (DAP) is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join the partnership team.

Your primary role will be to provide an effective support and advice service to victims referred to the service. You must have previous experience of direct work with victims affected by domestic abuse or adults with care and support needs or children and young people.

Senior Transformation Officer (Digital Housing)

Salary details: £40478 – £43516

Closing date: 23 April 2023 

We are looking someone to drive service change across our Neighbourhoods and Housing team. The post will work across a range of projects including the implementation of new modules within our housing management system, managing assets, asbestos and risk.

You will work closely with all teams to ensure that business and customer needs and requirements are priority – and are thoroughly captured and embedded in the operational solution.

Fostering Social Worker – Mockingbird

Salary details: £32020 – £38296 (pro-rata)

This role will work with key partners to develop a shared understanding and commitment to the Mockingbird Model. You will work closely with the wider Mockingbird team and be a key member of the multi-disciplinary implementation working group.

Candidates must be be able to put the Mockingbird model into practice and provide performance monitoring to measure project success.

Partnership Systems Change Manager – Fixed Term

Salary details: £40478 – £43516

We are looking to recruit an individual to drive service change and improvement for people experiencing severe multiple disadvantage – making a real difference to people’s lives.

You will have proven experience of embedding new ways of working at both the strategic and operational level, across Council services and partners – by bringing in new processes, practices, and technology, and by understanding the strategic value of shared information and data.

Private Sector Access Officer – Fixed Term

Salary details: £28371 – £31099

Closing date: 24 April 2023 

We have a fixed-term post available in our Homelessness Prevention & Options team, following the award of grant funding aimed at improving housing outcomes for specific groups of people.

The role will require lone working in various locations. You will be based between offices, customers’ homes and other locations, and you can work flexibly within this according to the needs of your role and working day.

Activity Organiser – 7 Posts

Salary details: £21575 – £22369 (pro-rata)

There are several permanent roles available as an Activity Organiser, ranging from 18-30 hours and some casual positions.

The role will plan, organise and review individual activities, as well as promoting participation from our customers. You will need a positive mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

We are looking for individuals with a real passion for supporting others and ensuring our customers get the best they can out of their time with us. These roles do involve providing personal care, nutrition and hydration and medication administration. 

Housing Sustainment Officer – 3 Posts – Fixed Term

Salary details: £28371 – £31099

Closing date: 24 April 2023

We have fixed term posts available within our Housing Access Service. Housing Sustainment Officers will be to work with people prior to their release from prison/approved premises in order to identify and any barriers to their successful resettlement.

The officer may also carry out tenancy sustainment work for the Private Sector Access team when required, in support of the accommodation for ex-offenders or wider team activity.
