Urgent treatment centres in Hull change opening times

Urgent treatment centres in Hull have changed their opening times.

Centres in the city – as well as those in Goole, Beverley and Bridlington – will be open from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.

The City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP) which runs the centres, are redeploying staff during the coronavirus crisis to support nursing services to treat patients in the community.

Jackie Griffiths, deputy chief operating officer at CHCP, said: “We are very fortunate to have a flexible and adaptable workforce, many of whom have the skills and experience to work across our services.

“We are extremely proud of the way our colleagues have adapted to changes to their working day without complaint and risen to the challenge at this time of national need.”

X-ray times will not be affected.

GP out-of-hours services will no longer be provided from the Westbourne Centre in Hull and from Rosedale in Hedon, so that GPs can be used as efficiently as possible.

The Story Street walk-in centre in Hull will not be changing its operating times.
