Hull Culture and Leisure will host its first ever ladies golf day this week.
The free session is designed for women who would like to know more about golf, in a fun and relaxed environment.
Taking place on Friday (19 September), the day includes a beginner-friendly taster sessions with a qualified coach with all equipment provided, and a complimentary drink.
It also includes time to socialise and a discount to use within the Lodge Grill & Bar.
Cllr Jackie Dad, deputy leader of the council said: “Whether you’ve never picked up a golf club or just want to give something new a go, this is the perfect opportunity to learn the basics for free in a supportive and welcoming environment.
“Those attending will also have a chance to find out more about Sutton Golf Club and women’s sessions at the Country Golf Driving Range, as well as exploring the golf course – it will be a great day!”
Sessions will start from 12.15pm, with four groups running across the afternoon. Comfortable clothes and trainers are advised, with all other equipment provided.
