Roadworks
The aim of the scheme is to reduce the impact of roadworks.

Weekly roadworks update

People are being reminded to plan their journeys before travelling around Hull this weekend.

As the city undergoes vital improvements to the road and transport infrastructure, motorists are advised to plan their journey before travelling using One.Network, and to keep up-to-date with Stoneferry Corridor works download the Hello Travaux app on the App Store on Google Play.

And as Hull City Council moves towards developing a more inclusive transport strategy which encourages a greener form of travel, the local authority want to hear your views.

The council wants to know about issues on local roads, how you travel, why you choose your preferred mode of transport, and what, if anything, would make you change the way that you travel.

The survey can be access via the Hull City Council website.

Councillor Dean Kirk, portfolio holder for transportation, roads, highways and flood prevention, said: “We want people who live, visit and travel around the city to share their views on how we develop plans to implement a more sustainable and accessible transport system for everyone, and the feedback you provide in this survey is absolutely critical to this.”

Important changes to NHS covid permits will also come into effect next week. In line with Government guidance these passes will no longer be valid from Monday 19 July. Letters will be issued to those motorists affected by this change.
