Hull landmarks shine brightly with Pride

Some of the city’s most recognisable landmarks will be illuminated in rainbow colours this week to celebrate Pride in Hull.

The Guildhall, Trinity Square and Victoria Square will all be lit up to show support for the LGBT+ community and celebrate the annual Pride in Hull event that takes place in the city centre this weekend.

On Saturday 20 July, Pride in Hull 2019 kicks off with a spectacular parade, reflecting on 50 years since the Stonewall uprising.

This will be followed by a host of performances in Queens Gardens from artists such as Mel C, Claire Richards from Steps and RuPaul’s Drag Race icon Alaska 5000.
