Essential overnight resurfacing will take place on Sutton Road and Holwell Road from Friday 21 March in the latest phase of the Stoneferry improvement scheme.
The work is expected to last for three nights and will be undertaken on weeknights from 7pm to 6am in order to minimise disruption. There will be no work on Saturday or Sunday nights.
The work will be taking place on:
• Sutton Road: eastbound leg from the Sutton Road / Holwell Road roundabout.
• Holwell Road: northbound leg from the Sutton Road / Holwell Road roundabout.
Signed diversions will be in place.
Councillor Dean Kirk, Hull City Council’s portfolio holder for transportation, roads and highways, said: “As part of the multimillion-pound Stoneferry improvement scheme, we have so far resurfaced approximately 2.11km of carriageway and 2km of footways.
“The project is currently on course for completion in late spring, after which motorists, businesses and residents in the Stoneferry area will be able to enjoy the full benefits of a much-improved road network.
“The upcoming closures will be carried out overnight in order to minimise disruption. As always, noise mitigation has been a core consideration in the selection of equipment. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
