Roadworks
The aim of the scheme is to reduce the impact of roadworks.

Roadworks to begin in County Road North

Essential roadworks will take place in County Road North from Monday 22 March.

The work will take place at the junction of County Road North and Sorrel Drive and traffic management will be in place.

Five-way temporary traffic signals will be in place at County Road North with Sorrel Drive, and the junction of Priory Road, Calvert Road and County Road South.

The works will take four weeks to complete.

Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for highways and Hull City Council, said: “We are carrying out essential road repairs in County Road North from next week, and we anticipate that these works will cause some delays to motorists.

“We have scheduled the repairs to coincide with the Easter school holidays to try and minimise disruption to traffic.

“We apologise in advance and ask that motorists are patient while we carry out these essential repairs.”

Scheduled bus services will continue to operate as normal.
