A book for children to help understand coronavirus has been published, called My Hero is You.
The book has been developed by children, for children, with input from over 1,700 children, parents, caregivers and teachers from around the world, who shared how they were coping with the pandemic.
It is aimed at children aged 6 to 11, helping to explain how children can protect themselves, their families and friends from coronavirus, and how to manage difficult emotions.
It is available in over 100 languages.

The project was developed by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee Reference Group on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings.
