The Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull and Admiral of the Humber will attend the civic Sea, Field and Factory Service later this month.
The annual event will once again take place at Hull Minster, on Sunday 22 September.
It will begin at 11am and conclude at around 12:15pm.
A harvest picnic buffet will be served following the Service, which will be available free of charge to anyone attending.
The Service will be preceded by a civic procession, which will leave the Guildhall at 10:35am.
The Lord Mayor, Councillor Mark Collinson, said: “This is an important civic occasion, part of a tradition whose origins date from the dawn of humanity.
“We still give thanks, as our ancestors always have, and as our descendants should, for the efforts of those working in these sectors, and pray for their continued success.
“It is as vital in modern times as it always has been.”
