Coronavirus: Hull mobile testing unit locations this week

A mobile testing unit is being deployed to different areas around the region to make it easier for people to get tested for coronavirus closer to home.

The mobile testing unit moves around the region offering testing strictly by appointment only.

The mobile testing unit will be at the following locations this week –

Tuesday 15 September: East Hull, Craven Park

Wednesday 16 September: East Hull, Craven Park

Friday 18 September: East Hull, Craven Park

Saturday 19 September: East Hull, Craven Park

Sunday 20 September: East Hull, Craven Park

Appointments at the mobile testing unit can be booked through the online referral portal (either directly or through an employer).

A permanent regional testing centre has also been established at the Humber Bridge Car Park (north).

This is a drive through facility and is strictly by appointment only.

Appointments at the regional testing centre can also be booked through the online referral portal (either directly or through an employer).

Who can get a test?

Anyone with coronavirus symptoms can get a test. Coronavirus symptoms are:

  • a high temperature
  • a new, continuous cough
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

You can get a test for someone you live with if they have these symptoms. Do not get tests for people you live with who do not have these symptoms.

If you’re getting a test because you have symptoms, you and anyone you live with must self-isolate until you get your result. This also applies to anyone in your support bubble (where someone who lives alone – or just with their children – can meet people from 1 other household).

You must also self-isolate if you cannot get a test because it’s more than five days since your symptoms started.
