Essential works to improve Hull’s infrastructure continue this week, with major works taking place as part of the Highways England A63 scheme.
From Monday 16 August motorists will be diverted between 8pm and 6am from Daltry Street to Roger Millward Way.
The work taking place will involve removing the Porter Street pedestrian crossing and the installation of a temporary one. They will also continue changing the layout at the Mytongate junction so more work can be carried out during the day.
“Councillor Dean Kirk, portfolio holder for transportation, roads, highways and flood prevention, said: “These are significant works and motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.”
And there is still time to have your say in the transport survey which closes on Monday 23 August.
“Councillor Kirk said: “We want people who live, visit and travel around the city to share their views on how we develop plans to implement a more sustainable and accessible transport system for everyone, and the feedback you provide in this survey is absolutely critical to this.”
Motorists are advised to plan their journey before travelling using One.Network, and to keep up-to-date with Stoneferry Corridor works download the Hello Travaux app on the App Store on Google Play.
