Seven and a half years ago whilst Lisa was helping her foster carer friend to look after a brother and two sisters, she took the plunge and contacted Hull Fostering to enquire about becoming a respite carer so she could continue to support the children.
After discovering the children may be split up as no one was available to care for all three children long-term together, it looked likely the three children were soon going to be split up and live separately, until Lisa asked if she could help keep the children together.
Now seven and a half years later, with a blended family of 8 children ranging from 31 to 11 years old, Lisa and her partner say they are happy and thriving in life.
