Essential overnight resurfacing works will continue next week in the latest phase of the multimillion-pound Stoneferry improvement scheme.
During the work, Stoneferry Road (southbound) will be closed from Ferry Lane Roundabout to Chamberlain Roundabout. This will include the Lorraine Street junction.
The work is being undertaken overnight (7pm to 6am) on weeknights in order to minimise disruption. It is now expected to finish on Wednesday 17 November.
Councillor Dean Kirk, portfolio holder for transportation, roads and highways said: “With the Stoneferry improvement scheme, we are improving access and use for thousands of residents and businesses in the area.”
