Hull resident wins £250 for completing waste survey

Hull City Council is delighted to announce that resident, David Waltham, has won a £250 voucher for participating in a recent survey on the city’s waste management services.

The survey, which aimed to gather residents’ feedback on the council’s waste collection and recycling services, received hundreds of responses, showing residents’ interest in enhancing Hull’s environmental sustainability.

With a £250 voucher up for grabs, residents had the opportunity to complete the survey over six weeks. The survey welcomed residents to share their thoughts on the current waste management services and gave them the opportunity to share feedback and suggestions.

The feedback collected from the survey will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Hull’s waste management services, ensuring they meet the city and residents’ needs.

The lucky winner of the £250 voucher, David Waltham, expressed his delight: “I never expected to win, but it’s really nice to be rewarded for completing the survey.

“I am hoping to put the money towards my wedding suit, so it’s perfect timing!

“It’s very important to be able to give feedback on council services, you need that open conversation. I’ve lived in Hull all my life, so it’s nice to be able to give something back, see the city thrive, and help improve services.”

Cllr Quinn said: “Congratulations to our lucky voucher winner David Waltham!

“We are committed to engaging with residents to create a cleaner, greener Hull.

“Thank you to all residents who took the time to complete the survey. Your feedback is crucial for helping us Improve, develop, and enhance our waste management services.”
