Visit Hull has launched a new website aimed at group travel organisers, tour operators and coach companies visiting the city.
Hull Group Travel aims to help groups plan their visit to the city, and includes a video tour of attractions, including The Deep, the Fruit Market cultural quarter, Trinity Market, Hepworth Arcade, Hull Minster and the Museums Quarter.
The new site helps visitors with parking, accommodation, places to eat and accessibility, and online bookable products enable companies to manage bookings efficiently.
Visitors can plan their experience in Hull, Yorkshire’s Maritime City, as the cultural and leisure offerings continue to evolve.
Anthony Yates, Head of Visitor Destination for Hull, said: “Hull has always attracted coach parties wanting to explore the wealth of culture and heritage in the city. Prior to the pandemic, the city had seen good year-on-year growth in coach and group tourism visits. This new website will help build back, sustain and grow the sector.
“The site will provide everything a group organiser could possibly need, from contact information for attractions, hotels and restaurants to inclusive packages, which are bookable online, and suggested itineraries. The B2B pages are a new addition to the group offer, providing information to the travel trade industry.”
Steve Reed, of Steve Reed Tourism, said: “We’ve very much enjoyed working in Hull over many years, as it’s such a rewarding experience for anyone connected to coach or group travel in the UK, and indeed even overseas.”
