Building Safety Manager

Salary details: £52050 – £55796

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods and Housing, forming part of the senior management team, reporting to the Assistant Director of Neighbourhoods and Housing.

The new and exciting role of Building Safety Manager is a ‘designated named person’ appointed by the Authority and registered with the Government’s Building Safety Regulator with overall responsibility and accountability for the Day-to-Day functions of ensuring that High Risk Buildings are risk assessed and safely managed, maintained and where and when required upgraded and improved in a manner that does not knowingly compromise the safety of the building or occupants.

Locality Programme Co-Ordinator

The community team within legal services are seeking an enthusiastic lawyer within its housing law section.  The position will focus on dealing with and defending claims brought by housing tenants who allege failure of the Council to repair their homes.

This is a one-year fixed term position.
