A popular vegan market is returning to Hull’s Old Town this month.
Trinity Market hosted its first Trinity After Dark vegan market in February, with hundreds of people turning up to grab a bite of vegan food or browse one of the vegan-friendly pop-up stalls.
The market returns on Friday 31 May from 5pm to 9pm.
Trinity Market’s resident traders will be supporting the event with their own vegan offerings, including vegan chocolate, ice cream, craft beer and gin.
Lucy Lines, Trinity Market manager, said: “The last vegan market was a great success and it really surprised us how many people attended on a cold February evening.
“We wanted the event to be a celebration of food with a food festival feel with like-minded people. We also wanted to encourage people to access the market on an evening and try something new. Both were achieved and we hope that this May event will be equally as popular.”
There will also be live music and a DJ.
On the menu this time will be vegan Vietnamese food, crepes, grilled sandwiches, burgers, pies, cakes and gourmet patties.
There will also be stalls selling eco-friendly clothing and household products, as well as cruelty free cosmetics.
