Beat the boredom this Easter with Hull’s Tenant Participation Team

Life during social distancing doesn’t have to be lonely or boring.

Hull City Council’s Tenant Participation Team has developed a package of fun and creative activities posted daily online on its social media accounts.

Activities this weekend include Easter crafts using egg boxes. And coming soon are OneHullova Quiz, name that uniform, build your own super hero, show us your garden and more.

And the team is urging participants to post their results on social media.

Dave Richmond, assistant director for neighbourhoods and housing at Hull City Council said: “None of us have ever lived in times like these. We all need to help control the virus and follow Government guidance – stay at home to stay safe.

“Whilst we can’t mingle in person, we can mingle online and perversely there is a real chance we can create better and friendlier neighbourhoods. We hope to play our part in promoting that local community spirit and we encourage you to get involved, or indeed get your own ideas going. Hull’s always been a creative place, let’s see what good can come out of this.”

Find the activities on the team’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
