Residential Care Leader

Salary details: £28282 – £30825

This vital service provides support to adults with a learning disability and complex needs and behaviours. If you have substantial experience of working in a care or support setting, are a natural leader and someone who is passionate about looking after others, then this role is for you. 

We are looking for those with a professional, energetic approach and most importantly displaying a caring, passionate and empathic approach. Someone who can manage a staff team on a shift and support the deputy manager and manager. You would be expected to work independently and using your own initiative. 

Homelessness Prevention and Options Officer (2 Posts)

Salary details: £27334 – £29777

Hull City Council’s Housing Access Service is a multi-disciplinary function which provides comprehensive housing advice designed to prevent homelessness and rough sleeping, help customers find realistic and sustainable housing solutions which meet their needs from a range of options and allocate available council homes. 

We are looking for someone with knowledge of the legislation relating to homelessness and social housing allocations, who wants to further their career in social housing.

Specialist Social Worker Supported Living

Salary details: £37336 – £40221

We provide consistent and intensive case management during the initial stages of a service being set up or where the professional view is that support can be reduced over a period of time e.g. over the first years of care, which include young people transitioning from children into adults services. 

The successful candidate will be based in the High Needs team working directly with the specialist mental health and learning disability commissioner to plan, prepare and deliver bespoke services for people with complex needs, living in supported living environment.

This is a small team which provides housing related support to refugees arriving in Hull under formal resettlement programmes such as the UK Resettlement Scheme and the Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme.

Senior ICT Officer

As the Principal GIS Officer, you will be a member of a small team, contributing to the maintenance, development, and ongoing support of Hull City Council’s city-wide spacial data systems.

You will hold the associated titles of Authority Street and Address Custodian and be one of the key liaisons between highways, street works, and external stakeholders.  You will be the key point of contact for all addressing matters, working closely with the Street Naming and Numbering Officer.

Hull City Council are excited to recruit to the position of Principal Finance Officer. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in accountancy and gain hands on experience in a busy public sector environment.

We are looking for someone with a strong accounting knowledge, the ability to interpret and analyse complex data, a robust understanding of financial processes and procedures, and the ability to undertake financial modelling, build budgets and monitor forecasts, all of which are needed to provide support, advice, and guidance to Council services.
