Please let us introduce the wonderful Linda, who has cared for many babies and children in her 44 years of fostering with us.
Linda provides a safe and nurturing home that is fully child-focused. Linda has such a caring approach to babies and children; they feel safe, loved and learn to trust again.
Linda’s fostering social worker, Rita said, “It is lovely to visit Linda and see the children smiling and happy, making progress in her care.
“More recently, Linda supported two brothers to move on to their adoptive family. Linda worked hard to make the experience positive and happy for all concerned and worked well with the adoptive parents and professionals involved.
“Linda continues to have contact with many of the children she has fostered and their adoptive parents and enjoys meet-ups and days out. Linda’s warm personality and ability to work in partnership with professionals, birth families and adopters is a real strength. Linda has made a difference to so many children’s lives.
“Linda has helped change so many children’s lives for the better.”
We would also like to acknowledge and congratulate Linda on the amazing achievement of 44 years of fostering, this is an outstanding contribution to the Fostering service, and it is a privilege to call Linda one of our foster carers.
