Active Through Football, from Hull Culture and Leisure, Tigers Trust and the Football Foundation, is celebrating reaching a massive milestone with free sessions available this half term.
Following a successful 1000 hours of physical activity participation on the project, these free sessions will invite users to get involved and help shape the future of the programme.
A free skate session will take place on Friday 17 February at 3pm for 16 – 19 year olds. The free event includes skate hire, and food will be available as part of the consultation.
An open day at Tigers Trust the same week has already sold out, with 150 young people expected to take part in a range of free football and inflatable activities, plus meeting the Active Through Football Hull team.
Councillor Rob Pritchard, Portfolio Holder for Communities and Culture said:
“Active Through Football is proving to be an incredibly popular project, and this milestone is a testament to the fantastic work of the team and enthusiasm of Hull’s young people.
“The consultation taking place as part of these free sessions will help us to put the right activities on in the right places and help even more young people access regular physical activity where they live.”
