Head of Planning

An exciting opportunity has arisen to head up the Planning Service in Hull following the retirement of the current postholder.  You will be responsible for leading the review of the 2017 Local Plan. 

You will lead the city’s next stage of transformation and play a pivotal role in continuing the city’s journey through devolution with our neighbours the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and leading on the development and implementation of a City Centre Masterplan.

Domestic Abuse Practitioner

The Domestic Abuse Partnership (DAP) is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join the partnership team. The aim of the partnership is to reduce repeat victimisation through enhancing the safety of victims and children by providing a co-ordinated and effective multi-agency response to tackling domestic abuse.

The primary role will be to provide an effective support and advice service to victims referred to the service.

Rough Sleeper Support Officer

We are seeking to recruit a Rough Sleeper Support Officer, funded through the Rough Sleeping Initiative, to provide support to individuals who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping.  Liaising with partner support services to ensure the indivduals support needs are met.

Education Safeguarding Manager

To act as the strategic safeguarding lead within Learning and Skills providing a safeguarding monitoring, reporting, advice and guidance function to education settings and partner agencies in order to ensure that Hull’s children and young people are educated within environments which recognise a shared responsibility for keeping children safe from harm. The work is in accordance with the Education Act 2002, Children Act 2004, Safeguarding Vulnerable People Act 2006 and current guidance on keeping children safe in educational settings.
